Here I am
explaining about a electrical engineer working as maintenance engineer in a industry.
In a industry if electrical engineer is
joined, after completion of training in the field of electrical he will work as
a shift engineer/maintenance engineer. In a day 3 shift are there. According to
the schedule engineer will come in any one shift.
In a industry when the engineer comes to
the duty in any shift
First he takes
over the pending works from previous shift engineer.
Then he will
look man power availability in that shift. Whether sufficient man power came or
not. Otherwise he will plan the extra man power.
According to
the priority of jobs he will plan the technical man power to solve the electrical break downs.
At the end
of the shift he will write the total activities in a logbook for information to
the next shift engineer.
